We Always Knew Kristen Bell Was a Hero…

Hot damn! Joe Adalian over at Variety is reporting that Ms. Kristen Bell (of kick-ass Veronica Mars fame, of course) will be taking her ass-whupping awesomeness over to Heroes this season.

The nature of her character, named Elle, is shrouded in mystery, but apparently she has ties to Claire, H.R.G. and Peter, and she kicks off her multi-episode arc with a little criminal activity. Aw, Veronica would be proud…

Zachary Quinto’s Sylar will be absent for a stretch mid-season while Quinto (pictured above at the wedding with Bell and fellow Hero Masi Oka) shoots the new Star Trek with JJ Abrams—perhaps Elle is a substitute minion of evil?

Well, I was sad that she wasn’t going on Lost… but I like Heroes too, so this should be great. I know she probably wants a movie career, but this is way better, because we get to see her on TV every week.

Chloe, why do you say that? Sort of odd to post that she needs to stay away, only to not offer any reasons why. I’d much rather see her on Lost, but Kristen on any show so we can see her every week is a good thing.
