Forgetting Sarah Marshall Joke Hits Close To Home For Kristen Bell.

Take it from someone who recently tried bringing up Paula Abdul’s “Rush, Rush” video to Keanu Reeves: No matter how ill-advised their previous projects might be, no matter how high their careers have since soared, most celebrities avoid bad-mouthing their back catalog.

On April 18, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” will hit theaters, with Judd Apatow’s comedy clan eager to follow in the footsteps of “Superbad” and “Knocked Up.” But as advance screenings have built buzz for the flick, a question is on the minds of those who’ve glimpsed one eyebrow-raising scene: Is Kristen Bell making fun of her last movie?

We now have more stars that have joined the ‘When In Rome’ cast list. The hottie Josh Duhamel, Kristen’s lover Dax Shepard and Jon Heder. I have added an article below. Credit: ComingSoon.net

Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder, Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard have joined the cast of When in Rome, a Kristen Bell romantic comedy that Mark Steven Johnson is directing for Disney, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by David Diamond and David Weissman, the story centers on a love-starved New York curator (Bell) who steals magical coins from the Trevi Fountain in Rome but soon finds herself in a bizarre situation when she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors whose coins she took.

Heder will play a street magician and one of Bell’s suitors. Duhamel is the “Rome’s” romantic lead. Shepard will play an aspiring model. Huston will play Bell’s boss, the curator of the Guggenheim.

There is a positive early review for Forgetting Sarah Marshall over at IESB.net, they gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Different people take different things from Judd Apatow’s movies – unless you haven’t been to the movies since Marty McFly transported back to 1955 you’d know that he’s the comedy genius behind the raunchy-but-real comedy hits “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”, “Knocked Up”, “Superbad”, and “Walk Hard”, the last two of which he just produced didn’t direct (that’s probably an important point since the directors of “Superbad” and this new one probably do deserve a little bit more credit) – be it a dozen memorable belly laughs, a crush on Seth Rogen (nobody said this was an intelligent analogy), a renewed assurance in modern-day comedies (Apatow has breathed new life into the genre – go rent “Head over Heels” or “Clerks 2” if you don’t believe me) or relief that others out there struggle to hold it together through the nine months lead up to a tot’s arrival down the love chute. I, I take home a cure for a cold. The medicine has worked twice now.
