Kristen Bell has revealed that she dyed her hair dark to help her look more “bad” in Burlesque. The actress, who starred with Christina Aguilera and Cher in the movie, said that the producers asked her to colour her hair darker because she didn’t look evil enough for the role when she was blonde. Bell told the Daily Mail: “I’m a blonde girl who goes dark to go bad. They felt my character should be brunette and bad.” Talking about her character, she said: “I’m the girl who feels threatened by Christina. It was make-believe – I just pretended to make Christina’s life a misery.” Credit: Digital Spy |

Yesterday was the Entertainment Tonight exclusive on the set of Burlesque we told you about earlier. There was a little bit of footage shown from the top secret set, and Kristen was shown briefly. She looks absolutely incredible in her costume! Watch the video after the cut.      |

Briefly we saw shots of Cher, Christina Aguliera, Julianne Hough and Kristen Bell with her raven hair in costume. Lots of numbers were being filmed and there was an interview with Cher. She’s getting ready to start shooting Burlesque, director Steve Antin’s upcoming drama in which she and Christina Aguilera costar as rivals at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by a former dancer played by Cher. Rounding out the cast is Twilight stud Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci. |

Originally a â60s Japanese anime cartoon, Astro Boy has been given a digital makeover and a voice cast that includes Freddie Highmore as Astro, Nicolas Cage and Samuel L.
