The trailer for Steven Antin’s Burlesque, starring Cher, Christina Aguilera, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Peter Gallagher, Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci has been released! I have added the video and caps to the site. Hopefully a better quality version of the trailer will be available soon. Kristen Bell looks downright amazing in this role, I really am dying to see it for her especially! In the November 24 release, Aguilera plays Ali, a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to LA. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club’s proprietor and headliner. Kristen Bell has revealed that she dyed her hair dark to help her look more “bad” in Burlesque. The actress, who starred with Christina Aguilera and Cher in the movie, said that the producers asked her to colour her hair darker because she didn’t look evil enough for the role when she was blonde. Bell told the Daily Mail: “I’m a blonde girl who goes dark to go bad. They felt my character should be brunette and bad.” Talking about her character, she said: “I’m the girl who feels threatened by Christina. It was make-believe – I just pretended to make Christina’s life a misery.” Credit: Digital Spy

Briefly we saw shots of Cher, Christina Aguliera, Julianne Hough and Kristen Bell with her raven hair in costume. Lots of numbers were being filmed and there was an interview with Cher. I love Kristen’s comment here, so funny! On the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globes, an Access Hollywood correspondent got Kristen Bell to confirm this quote about how the filming of Burlesque has affected her. â€œYou have said, and actually I have a direct quote from you, â€˜I have never felt so much good female energy around me, I canâ€™t take my eyes off of them, Iâ€™m 99% sure that I will leave this movie a lesbian,â€™â€ Menounos said. â€œTrue, I mean true,” answered Kristen. “Itâ€™s not over yet, so weâ€™ll see what happens. There are a lot of gorgeous, gorgeous women, and the dancers are phenomenal in this movie.â€ She’s been filming with Cher, Christina Aguilera and Julianne Hough. The film comes out in November. Kristen Bell is in a lot of pain these days. “I’ve started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore,” Bell told me at last night’s Vanity Fair-hosted launch of Guess?’s new T-shirt benefiting Invisible Children. No, the actress is not training for a stint on Dancing With the Stars. She’s getting ready to start shooting Burlesque, director Steve Antin’s upcoming drama in which she and Christina Aguilera costar as rivals at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by a former dancer played by Cher.
