Ain’t no party like a Party Down party!
Kristen Bell knows it. So does Jane Lynch. Which is why, even though they’re kind of a big deal now (news flash: K.Bell on the big screen and J.Lynch on Fox’s Glee), we can tell you exclusively that both boldass blondes will be coming back to FX’s thoroughly entertaining comedy Party Down.
Turns out Kristen is going to be canoodling with Party Down‘s leading man, Adam Scott, which begs the question: What about his first-season flame Casey, aka Lizzie Caplan of True Blood? And does this mean Kristen is sticking around for good?
We infiltrated the Party Down set for exclusive scoop on the new season…
Kristen Bell is on Empire magazine’s Sexiest Movie Stars list at #29. She just beat Salma Hayek and ranked below Eva Mendes. View her entry here.
In her high school year book Kristen Bell was voted the “Best Looking Girl”, which just about says it all. Though her breakthrough Hollywood film was Forgetting Sarah Marshall, she’s been known to many as electric Elle Bishop from Heroes and before that as the smart-mouthed star of Veronica Mars. Cute as a button and whip-smart to boot.
Most alluring as… Sassy sleuth Veronica Mars in the criminally canceled series of the same name.
Interests include… Her dogs, playing hockey and eating dessert, apparently.
Kristen Bell was on “cloud nine” when she got to punch Meg Ryan.
The blonde actress was thrilled to share a fight scene with the Hollywood legend in new comedy movie Serious Moonlight.
She said: “I got to get in a fistfight with Meg in Serious Moonlight. And she was so game. I was just like, ‘Oh, my gosh. I am having a fistfight with Meg Ryan right now. I’m just on cloud nine.’ ”
Kristen Bell dreamed of being a Disney princess.
The actress loved voicing a character in animated adventure ‘Astro Boy’ because she had grown up wanting to be in a cartoon.
She said: “I think like any other girl who grew up in the ’80s and early ’90s: I always dreamed about being a Disney princess. That was my fantasy. I think that, for my generation, the kids that are my age now, we memorized all those songs. In my off hours I still do them in the shower.
Kristen Bell wants to hate Megan Fox — but she can’t!
The Couples Retreat actress says she’d probably end up being friends with the “witty and smart” Transformers star.
“I want to hate Megan Fox more than anything,” Bell told Women’s Health magazine. “We all do.
“But I read a bunch of her quotes, and she’s witty and smart and carefree. I thought, ‘This is the kind of girl I’d love to be friends with’.”
GUESS – the American lifestyle brand famous for its trend-setting denim and unforgettable campaigns – and VANITY FAIR magazine, are excited to announce the launch event for a new line of organic t-shirts designed to make a difference: 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit Invisible Children.
This star-studded event will take place at the GUESS Rodeo Drive flagship store in Beverly Hills on Thursday, October 22, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. The event will be hosted by young Hollywood’s leading ladies, Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson, with musical guest Peter Wentz accompanied by DJ White Shadow.
Amazing news! Kristen will star in a new film I’ve been looking forward to called Burlesque, it will also star Christina Aguilera. Bell will star as Christina Aguilera’s rival in the Screen Gems’ musical drama being directed by Steve Antin reports Variety.
Burlesque centers on the journey of an ambitious small-town girl (Aguilera) with a big-town voice who finds love and success in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club, reminiscent of the nightclub in Bob Fosse’s Cabaret. (Aguilera has guested in cabarets for the Pussycat Dolls.)
Bell will play Nikki, the loose-cannon lead dancer and main attraction at the club who spirals out of control when Aguilera’s character suddenly gets the spotlight.
Already cast are Cher as the nightclub owner and Stanley Tucci as the man who helps turn Aguilera from bumpkin to bombshell.
Shooting begins Nov. 9 with a release aimed for Thanksgiving 2010.
Screen Gems senior vp production Scott Strauss will oversee the project.
Kristen is featured as IGN’s “Babe of the Day” today, October 7th.
Everybody has a different favorite character of today’s Babe of the Day, Kristen Bell.
For some of you, she’ll always be Veronica Mars. For others, she’s Elle Bishop from Heroes. Or maybe it’s the unforgettable Sarah Marshall or the voice of Gossip Girl. We love them all. And all of those characters have the distinction of being really hot as well, thanks to Kristen’s lusciousness. Well, you never see the voice on Gossip Girl but she sounds really hot – amirites?!
Regardles, we can’t wait to see this cute young blonde, in a bikini, in Couples Retreat, which hits theatres October 9th, AKA this Friday.

Kristen will be returning as the voice of Lucy Stillman in the sequel of the video game Assassin’s Creed 2. You can read an article from VideoGamer.com about the project and I have added some behind the scenes images of Kristen recording and a pictures of her character to the gallery.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Kristen Bell will reprise her role as Abstergo employee Lucy Stillman in the upcoming sequel Assassin’s Creed 2.
The former Veronica Mars and Heroes star will play an even bigger role in Assassin’s Creed 2.
“Kristen Bell is a talented actress that brought the depth and emotion necessary for the mysterious role of Lucy for the first Assassin’s Creed video game. She breathed life into her character in a way that deepened the gaming experience,” said Patrice Desilets, creative director for Assassin’s Creed II. “She did such a fantastic job for this character that, for me, Kristen Bell is Lucy Stillman and no one else can play that role.”
In the big screen version of Osamu Tesuka’s manga, Astro Boy will apparently get one sassy friend. Kristen Bell, the actress who fills the voice of the sassy friend, brings the matter into public attention when discussing with Sci Fi Wire about her animated character in 3-D animated movie “Astro Boy”.

“I play Cora, who is a girl who befriends Astro when he comes down from Metro City onto the surface of Earth,” 28-year-old Bell revealed. The actress, who confessed of having no idea about the manga until she worked on the project, moreover described her character, saying “She runs a little kind of like Peter Pan group of kids. She’s pretty tough, pretty sassy.”
