“Do you wanna do the full hike?” Kristen Bell asks, her blue eyes glinting in the last drops of late-afternoon sun.
Why not? Clearly, she’s up for it. The actress has arrived at L.A.’s Griffith Park, prepared for a rigorous trek, her petite frame clad in a workout top and a pair of seriously short shorts that show off her toned legs. She starts up the dirt path, two of her dogs in tow.
But while Kristen is interested in a workout, the dogs have other ideas. Minutes into the hike, Lola, a 5-year-old chow chow-corgi mix, stops in her tracks. “Already?” Kristen says with good-natured exasperation. “Now that’s embarrassing.” Not to be outdone, Mr. Shakes, a 41/2-year-old mutt, decides to do his business smack in the middle of the high-traffic trail. “I didn’t bring any bags with me!” Would notebook paper do? “I’ll take it,” Kristen says, crouching down to clean up the mess. Then, without missing a beat: “Now, where was I?”

Let the other celebrities have their parties, clubs, and run-ins with the paparazzi. For Kristen Bell, nothing beats a night at home with boyfriend Dax Shepard over a good board game.
“There is almost nothing, barring a natural disaster, that I would let eat into my time at home, playing Scrabble with Dax or talking to my girlfriends,” Bell, 29, tells Women’s Health in its November issue, hitting newsstands Tuesday. “There’s packing your day and then there’s jam-packing your day, and I won’t do it anymore. I need to decompress. I need to feel like I’m a person – a human being – first.”
Of course, the couple, who’ve been together for years now, got to enjoy some of the comforts of home on the set when they filmed the movie When in Rome together.

 Kristen was on London’s This Morning Show yesterday morning and you can see the video on their official site if you’re a resident. Gorgeous Gossip Girl tells us about getting to the top spot in the US film charts.
Kristen has gone from teenage detective in E4’s Veronica Mars to internet blogger in ITV2’s Gossip Girl, to being able to manipulate electricity in BBC2’s Heroes.
She is one of the biggest rising US stars of the moment and her career up does not appear to be slowing down as her latest project, film Couples Retreat, has proved a huge hit.

 The girl of Couples Retreat our girl Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman and Kristin Davis, are on the cover of the October issue of Self Magazine and they all looks so great and fresh. Kristen looks absolutley amazing on the cover and in the two outtakes that I have added to the gallery. I have aslo added captures from the behind the scenes video, which you can watch below the previews under the cut. Here is a little something that Self wrote on their webpage:
Kristen Bell walked in second. What a dreamboat. Cute, sexy, and sporty all rolled into one. We had worked together a few years ago for Self, which she remembered (love her.) She also was so easy and fun.

 Sorry for the lack of updates this week, but I have been on vacation with some friends, but I am back now. Kristen is on the cover of the September 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine and she just looks so incredible! I have added the cover and one outtake from the shoot. She has an amazing movie career, a great boyfriend, and the easiest gig on TV. Yet Kristen lives with roommates, eats at Big Boy, and isn’t at all bitchy. We’d be annoyed if we didn’t like her so much.
Kristen Bell wants us to help her groom her dog. At least, that’s what her publicist tells us…but we don’t really believe she’ll actually be wielding shears. Kristen has starred in hit movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, has been a regular on TV shows like Heroes, and is the deliciously wicked narrator of Gossip Girl — we figure she’ll just stand to the side while some high-priced doggie stylist to the stars ties pink ribbons in her pooch’s hair.
