D3Publisher has announced that Astro Boy: The Video Game will feature the voice talents of Freddie Highmore and Kristen Bell – both actors will reprise their onscreen voiced roles of Astro Boy (Highmore), and Cora (Bell) in a video game that will take players on an epic adventure to save Metro City from the clutches of evil. Astro Boy: The Video Game will be available in UK retail stores for Wii, PS2, DS and PSP to coincide with Summit Entertainment’s nationwide domestic release of the movie on 5th February 2010.
Kristen is also doing some promotion for Astro Boy which is being released in the UK and Ireland on February 5, 2010. She gave an interview with OK Magazine recently. You can view a video on their site and read the interview below.
It has been almost impossible to avoid Kristen Bell over the last two years. Bubbly blonde bombshell Kristen Bell set sci-fi lovers’ hearts on fire in her role as Veronica Mars in 2004, and things only got more intense when she landed the part of sexy but deadly Elle Bishop in TV series Heroes.
And this year is set to send Kristen into the stratosphere when she stars in When In Rome with Josh Duhamel, You Again with Sigourney Weaver, Jamie Lee Curtis and Betty White, and Burlesque with Cher and Christina Aguilera.
At 29, she gets mature role in Couples Retreat but lends voice to teen in Astro Boy.
Kristen Bell may be the only woman in Hollywood who is actually trying to age herself.
At 29, she still looks like a teen. You’d definitely card her.
Most people first got to know her as a high-school detective in the title role of TV’s Veronica Mars from 2004 to 2007. She was already in her 20s then.
In the recent comedy hit Couples Retreat, opposite Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman, the actress has gotten to mature a bit – playing a woman who after a number of years of marriage has problems because of her inability to conceive.
Astro Boy is now playing in the USA. For more release dates go here. Kristen Bell voices Cora. Other voice super stars include Nicolas Cage, Charlize Theron, Bill Nighy, Freddie Highmore and Donald Sutherland.

Tons, and tons of Kristen videos are circling the web right now with the promotion for her two latest movies Astro Boy and Couples Retreat so I’m posting several here so we don’t lose track of them before we have a chance to add to the site.

There is a new photoshoot and article with Kristen from The Orange County Register. She was photographed at the press junkets for Astro Boy looking gorgeous in a yellow dress. So stunning! You can read the article below the break.
Kristen Bell of Astro Boy isn’t your typical actress
The star says she’s a homebody, not a Maxim model. Here are the rules for interviewing Kristen Bell: No hugging or kissing.
I always assumed that those rules were in effect when interviewing any young blond actress in Hollywood. But, it turns out that the reason the rules had to be announced this time was that the actress was sick.
“She just got off a plane from Australia, and she’s feeling terrible,” a studio publicist explained. “But Kristen’s a trouper, and she didn’t want to cancel the interview. Just don’t hug or kiss her.”
As the omnipresent narrator of uber-popular CW hit Gossip Girl, a character in the video game Assassin’s Creed and Cora in the upcoming Astro Boy movie, Kristen Bell’s voice is almost as famous as her face.
Bell shot to stardom in 2004 as the titular character in the television series ‘Veronica Mars.’ When the show was cancelled, she racked up TV credits (‘Heroes’) and movie roles (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couples Retreatl). Now, in ‘Astro Boy,’ Bell enters the world of animation for the first time. The actress spoke to Moviefone about geek culture, getting in front of Gossip Girl‘s cameras and why she’ll never go to the theater to see herself.
Just back from Australia on a promo tour for her comedy Couples Retreat, Kristen Bell stopped off in Beverly Hills to chat with us about her voice role in the animated film Astro Boy. For those unfamiliar with the popular Manga and the ’80′s TV show, Astro Boy, set in futuristic Metro City, is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist named Tenma (Nicolas Cage). Powered by positive “blue” energy, Astro Boy (Freddie Highmore) is endowed with super strength, x-ray vision, unbelievable speed and the ability to fly.
Embarking on a journey in search of acceptance, Astro Boy learns the joys and emotions of being human, and gains the strength to embrace his destiny. Ultimately learning his friends and family are in danger, Astro Boy marshals his awesome super powers and returns to Metro City in a valiant effort to save everything he cares about and to understand what it takes to be a hero.
ComingSoon.net talked exclusively to Kristen Bell about voicing Cora in Astro Boy, the big screen adaptation opening in theaters on Friday, October 23. In the film, Cora is a smart, resourceful girl who is a tough but caring den mother to a gang of children. She teams up with Astro to help save Metro City.

Kristen Bell wore her pyjamas to work “on principle” when she was recording her voiceover for Astro Boy.
The actress made the confession at the movie’s premiere in Hollywood.
“Very literally I would show up in my pyjamas, even if I had to record at three or four in the afternoon I would change back into my pyjamas just on principle because if you have a job you can show up to on pyjamas I say go for it,” she confessed.
“It’s wonderfully comfortable,” she added.
