I realize that many questions are being asked right now about the fate of our favorite show Veronica Mars. I have been reading a bit online and listening for any major news and so far this is what fans should know.
Someone posted a question on the TV Guide website for Michael Ausiello asking about the chances of a 4th season.
Any news on a fourth season of Veronica Mars?
Ausiello: I just e-emailed Mars’ main man Rob Thomas for an update, and here’s what he wrote back: “We’re very much on the fence for a fourth season. My amateur handicapping of our situation — 60/40 in our favor. We are shooting the finale as a season finale — not as a series finale. There will be no alternate. If they do try to get rid of us, we’re not going to make it easy for them.” I gotta tell ya, there are few things in life I enjoy more than a juicy Rob Thomas soundbite.
The last episode for a while aired this past tuesday in the US. The show is going on an 8 week hiatus, but isn’t cancelled.
The hiatus will begin on March 6th and continue for eight weeks. However, when Veronica Mars comes back, it “will come back with five stand-alone episodes.†Each of the five episodes will work separately and run without hiatus for five weeks.
Dawn Ostroff confirmed that the new stand-alone format for the final five episodes is not “an admission that the show is in a little more trouble†or that the network is “not happy with the numbers.†In fact, Ostroff repeatedly told reporters that the network has “been really happy with the quality†and that “the numbers have been better than they ever were in the history of the series. Ostroff went on to explain the reasoning for the stand-alone episodes, “it’s really just a way to experiment and see if we can make the show closed-ended so that people aren’t intimidated to come in. And it just is more accessible to viewers, and that’s really what’s motivating it.â€

The winners will be announced at this year’s 33rd Annual Saturn Awards which takes place on Thursday, May 10, 2007 in Universal City. I have redone the whole Press Archive, I like this version much better and I really hope you’ll like it to. I have also update with some news about Kristen movies and some other stuff. Soon I’ll try to make transcripts of the magazine interviews I have scans of. It is coming to dvd March 17, you can view the trailer here. It was made a while back and is just getting released, Kristen is young in it but still very cute, she only has a small role. :wink: I will try and add better quality version caps when they become available.

My update for today is screencaptures from two Veronica Mars episodes, 3×10 and 3×11. I’m gonna add som more Veronica Mars caps as soon as possible and I promise to start to update more, my personal life is much more quite right now :smile: I’ve also added three new gorgeous photoshoots of our beautiful Kristen.
